The following terms and conditions relate to the purchases of Fresh Prawns from Flo-Gro Systems Limited (“FloGro” or “we” or “us”), a company registered in England & Wales (company number 07882576), of St. James House, 8 Overcliffe, Gravesend, Kent, DA11 0HJ.
By placing an order and purchasing goods from the FloGro website you are agreeing to these terms and conditions in their entirety. To protect your own interests, please read them carefully. We advise that you print and retain these terms for your records. Under English law, we may not enter into a contract with any person under 18 years of age. By placing an order you declare that you are at least 18 years old and you have read and understand the terms and conditions.
We provide our website as a service to provide information to our customers. We expressly disclaim all liability for damages of any kind arising out of the use of, reference to, or reliance upon any information contained within this site.
We reserve the right to change any of the contents of any part of our website, at any time and without notice. We will not be held liable for any misuse of links from our website by other parties, nor for the content of websites to which we may have links on our site.
Links from our website to third-party sites do not constitute an endorsement by FloGro of the parties or their products and services. The appearance on the website of any advertisements, third party products or service information does not constitute an endorsement by FloGro, and FloGro has not investigated the claims made by any advertiser.
This site makes use of licensed stock photography. All photography is for illustrative purposes only.
The price of goods shall be in accordance with those set out on the relevant product pages. We make every effort to ensure that the prices within our website are correct, however they can be updated at any time without notice.
The total price of any order you place through our website is inclusive of any applicable value added tax (VAT) at the prevailing rate as set by the government at time of order.
We reserve the right to reject any order, although orders are normally accepted if the selected products are available and your payment method is authorised for the transaction.
No order submitted by you shall be deemed to be accepted by us until it is confirmed via email or in writing by us.
As a fresh natural product, our stock levels will vary according to supply from our farm, and we reserve the right to cancel, delay or refund your order if demand exceeds stock. We will contact you promptly if there are any issues with your order, and we will provide you with the available options for delay in delivery, or for a complete or partial refund.
Any error or omission in any information or document issued by FloGro shall be subject to correction, provided that is does not affect the contract herewith.
You or FloGro are entitled to withdraw from any contract in the case of obvious errors and/or inaccuracies regarding your order.
Only one special offer code can be used at a time unless stated otherwise on the release of that offer. All offers can be withdrawn at any time and without notice. All offers are subject to stock availability.
Cancellation of orders
Once placed, your order will be despatched promptly, and once despatched from our farm your order cannot be cancelled, amended or refunded.
For online orders, we process all the usual credit or debit cards online, via PayPal. When you place an order using a debit or credit card, you confirm that all the information contained within the order is true and that you authorise PayPal to deduct the confirmed amount from your chosen payment card, which will then be passed to us.
Your payment will be taken at the point the order is placed.
Should we not be able to collect or receive payment for reasons outside of our control, we will not dispatch your order. Should this happen, we will make every effort to contact you and advise you, however we accept no liability for any loss incurred due to the delay in dispatching your order.
We will not pass on your personal information to any third party without your permission, and unless solely due to our negligence, will not be held responsible for any problems you may incur or losses you may suffer.
We generally dispatch to mainland UK ONLY, which EXCLUDES Ireland, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly, Isle of Wight, all Scottish Islands, Highlands and North of Falkirk. Delivery of your order shall be made to the delivery address provided. You are responsible for giving us the full name of the recipient and correct address for all deliveries, including but not limited to the postcode. These details are passed directly to the courier service once the order is placed, and if our carriers are unable to deliver any order due to any error in the address, you will be charged for the order in full. If there is no answer at the specified delivery address and no alternative delivery instructions, the courier will attempt to leave the delivery at a neighbouring address unless stated not to do so in the delivery instructions on your order. If the delivery company is unable to leave the delivery with a neighbouring address and there are no delivery instructions and no safe place to leave the order, the delivery will be returned to the depot and it will become your responsibility to collect it. Should you ask for your order to be left in a specific place and the carrier cannot obtain a signature to confirm the delivery of your order, it will be left at your own risk; we accept no liability for its loss or damage.
Our minimum order quantity is 1kg.
Orders are packed in a polystyrene box and chilled before being dispatched for “next day delivery”. Normally your order will reach you before 4pm on the day following dispatch, sometimes however it may be delayed.
If, for reasons within our control, we fail to deliver part or whole of your order, we will reimburse no more than the price of the goods. After 10am on the day before dispatch we are unable to change any details for the delivery as they are passed to the courier company and will be logged into their national system. We ask that any issues with delivery be reported to us within 24 hours of expected delivery time.
Whilst our king prawns are packed with great care and the highest quality and hygiene standards, please check thoroughly that there are no foreign bodies or packing materials of any kind within your prawns when they arrive, as no liability will be accepted by the company for any injury or loss as a result of these items.

Except in respect of death or personal injury caused by our negligence, we are not liable for any loss or damage caused by us in circumstances where: we have not breached our legal duty of care owed to you; it is not reasonably foreseeable that any loss or damage incurred is a result of this breach; or you have breached any part of your contract that has increased loss or damage.
